Your first ₹2,500 wholesale order: a starter mix for a scoop or aesthetic shop

6 min read · Updated 05 Oct 2026

Two example first orders that clear a ₹2,500 minimum: one built for mystery scoops, one for a shop that sells pieces individually, with the case arithmetic and what each mix lets you sell.

A first wholesale order is mostly a test. You are finding out which designs your buyers react to, how fast each one sells, and how the whole process of ordering, freight and delivery works for your city. That makes variety more useful than quantity, and it means the best first order is usually the smallest one that still gives you enough to sell.

At Tirth Enterprise a shop's first order can be from ₹2,500. Later orders are from ₹5,000. We sell by the case only, one design per case, and you can mix designs freely in one order. Cases in the current range hold 12 to 60 pieces, and each product page prints its case size.

The two mixes below are examples. The case sizes are like ones in our range, but the rates are made-up round numbers, not our prices. Once you are approved you will see the real rates and can redo the sums.

Mix 1: for a mystery scoop shop

A scoop shop needs lots of filler, a steady supply of everyday pieces, and enough heroes to put one in every scoop.

  1. A food-shaped eraser design: 24 pieces at ₹8 = ₹192 (example)
  2. A second food-shaped eraser design: 24 pieces at ₹8 = ₹192 (example)
  3. A vehicle or space eraser design: 36 pieces at ₹7 = ₹252 (example)
  4. A cute sharpener: 24 pieces at ₹10 = ₹240 (example)
  5. A mechanical pencil design: 36 pieces at ₹12 = ₹432 (example)
  6. A 10-colour pen design: 36 pieces at ₹20 = ₹720 (example)
  7. A mini highlighter set: 12 sets at ₹45 = ₹540 (example)

Total: ₹2,568 for 192 pieces in seven designs, before GST and freight.

What it makes

Sort the pieces into layers. The erasers and sharpeners are filler: 24 + 24 + 36 + 24 = 108 pieces. The mechanical pencils are mid pieces: 36. The pens and highlighter sets are heroes: 36 + 12 = 48.

Take a small scoop of 4 filler, 1 mid and 1 hero. Filler runs out first, at 108 ÷ 4 = 27 scoops. After 27 scoops you have 9 pencils and 21 heroes left over, which can go into a handful of bigger scoops with two heroes each.

That is roughly 27 to 30 scoops from one ₹2,500 order. It is enough to learn which eraser shapes people mention in their unboxing videos and whether the highlighter sets or the pens get the bigger reaction. Put the answers into your second order.

Why this shape

Four of the seven designs are filler because filler goes fastest. The highlighter set is the costliest piece in this example, and a case of twelve is enough to test it. If you have a little more budget, add designs before you add cases of the same design. A buyer who orders twice notices repeats.

Mix 2: for an aesthetic shop that sells pieces one by one

A Pinterest-style shop sells each piece as a product with its own photo and price. Fewer designs, each with a strong look, suit this better than a wide spread of filler.

  1. A pastel mini highlighter set: 12 sets at ₹45 = ₹540 (example)
  2. A fruit-themed mini highlighter set: 12 sets at ₹45 = ₹540 (example)
  3. A candy-flavour marker set: 24 sets at ₹30 = ₹720 (example)
  4. A 10-colour pen in a cat or dog design: 36 pieces at ₹20 = ₹720 (example)

Total: ₹2,520 for 84 pieces in four designs, before GST and freight.

What it makes

Four products for your grid, each with enough stock to post, sell and restock from the same case. The two highlighter sets photograph well side by side, the marker set suits a short video of each colour on paper, and the pen gives you something under the price of a set for buyers who want a smaller order.

You can also bundle: a highlighter set with a pen makes a gift pack, which lifts the order value without needing new stock. Price each piece from its own landed cost, then price the bundle from the sum of the pieces, with a small saving that gives the buyer a reason to take both.

Adjusting the mix to your budget

If you have more than ₹2,500 to spend, add designs before you add depth. A third food-shaped eraser and a second pen design widen your tray far more than a second case of the same pencil. With ₹3,500 (example), Mix 1 could take two more designs at around ₹450 each and still keep every case different.

If you want to stay close to the minimum, watch the big cases. Dropping the pen case (₹720) from Mix 1 leaves ₹1,848, which is under the minimum, so you would replace it with another hero design of similar value, such as a maze pen or an LED pen, rather than simply removing it.

Before you pay, run four checks on your cart:

  1. Count the designs. For scoops, more designs matter more than more pieces.
  2. Count each layer: filler, mid and hero. The smallest layer decides how many scoops you can make.
  3. Check the total is above the minimum for a first order.
  4. Add GST and an estimate for freight to your budget, so the final amount does not surprise you.

What to leave for the second order

Some things make more sense once you know your buyers:

  • Pencil boxes and LCD drawing boxes come in cases of 12 and ship in bigger cartons. They suit gift hampers and kids' gifting well, but they are a bigger bet for a first order.
  • Gift-ready stationery sets are good for festival seasons; time them for the second or third order.
  • Very large cases, such as 60 pieces of one eraser, are better once you know that design sells.

What the ₹2,500 does not include

Our rates are ex-warehouse Rajkot, and they exclude GST and freight. So the money you need is:

  • the order total at our rates (₹2,568 in Mix 1)
  • plus GST, shown on the invoice
  • plus freight to your city, which we confirm before you pay

Goods go on your transporter, and you get the LR receipt to track the consignment. If you are near Rajkot you can also collect from the warehouse. You do not need a GST number to buy; buyers without one pay the same rate and simply cannot claim input credit.

Placing the order

  1. Register with your shop or business name, city and pincode, and one proof: a photo of a visiting card, a link to your shop's Instagram or Facebook page, or a photo of your shop board. A home shop that sells on Instagram can use its page link.
  2. Approval is usually within a day. After that, you see prices.
  3. Add cases to your cart. Mix designs from any category.
  4. We confirm freight for your city before you pay.
  5. When the cartons arrive, open them, count every case against the invoice, and test a few pieces from each design before you sell.

If a design you liked is sold out, use the restock request on its product page and we will tell you when it is back.
