1 Scope
1.1This Shipping & Delivery Policy ("Policy") applies to every Order placed on testationery.in (the "Platform") with Tirth Enterprise, Amin Marg, Rajkot – 360001, Gujarat, India ("we", "us"). It forms part of, and is to be read with, our Terms of Service and our Cancellation & Refund Policy. Words given a meaning in the Terms of Service have the same meaning here.
1.2This Policy sets out how the Terms of Service are applied. If anything in this Policy is inconsistent with the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service prevail.
2 Where we deliver
2.1We deliver only to addresses in India, to the delivery address registered on your account.
2.2You can check whether we deliver to your pincode, and on which delivery options, in the cart before you pay. Where a pincode cannot be served, the Order cannot be placed, or is cancelled with a full refund under our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
2.3You may change the delivery address only before dispatch, by writing to us. A change of address may change the freight, and we shall tell you the new amount before we dispatch.
3 Delivery options
3.1At checkout you may choose:
(a) Standard: our economical service, by surface; or
(b) Express: our faster service, by air or priority surface, where available for your pincode.
3.2When you choose a delivery option, you ask us to arrange the Transporter. We choose the Transporter, the mode and the route for each consignment, so as to suit the destination, the weight and the delivery option you chose. We may change the Transporter before dispatch without notice to you, where this does not increase the freight you paid.
3.3Express is a faster service. It is not a promise of delivery on a particular date.
3.4Where you ask us in writing to use a transporter of your own choice, or to keep the Goods for collection from our warehouse at Rajkot, we may agree. Clause 11 then applies.
4 Freight
4.1The freight for your Order depends on its chargeable weight, the delivery pincode and the delivery option you choose. The chargeable weight is the greater of the actual weight and the volumetric weight of the packed cartons, as the Transporter measures it.
4.2Freight that we arrange is confirmed to you before you pay: it is shown in the cart and on the payment page. Where it is charged on our invoice, GST applies to it as the law provides. Freight payable to a Transporter on delivery is settled by you with the Transporter.
4.3Freight to remote or out-of-delivery-area pincodes is higher, and is included in the amount shown before you pay. Any charge that the Transporter collects from you at delivery, such as a charge for delivery at its office, is shown to you before you pay.
4.4We do not add any packing, insurance or other charge to your Order unless you have selected it.
5 Dispatch
5.1We usually dispatch an Order within two (2) working days after payment is received. Working days are Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays at Rajkot.
5.2Dispatch may take longer for large Orders, for Goods that must be picked from more than one stock lot, and during festival seasons. Where we expect a delay, we shall tell you.
5.3Any date or period given for dispatch is an estimate only.
5.4On dispatch, we send you the Transporter's name and the consignment or tracking number by email or WhatsApp, and show them in your account.
6 Delivery times
6.1Delivery times after dispatch are estimates. They are usually:
| Option | Usual time after dispatch |
|---|---|
| Standard | 3 to 7 working days |
| Express | 1 to 3 working days |
6.2Remote pincodes, the Transporter's own holidays, weather and similar causes may lengthen these times. A delay in dispatch or delivery does not entitle you to cancel a paid Order or to claim compensation. We shall follow up with the Transporter for you.
7 Packing and documents
7.1We pack the Goods in sealed cartons suited to transport, with a packing list. A large Order may travel as several cartons, or as several consignments each with its own tracking number.
7.2The tax invoice travels with the Goods, or is sent to you by email. Where the law requires an e-way bill for a consignment, we generate it.
8 Taking delivery
8.1At delivery, you shall count the cartons and check their seals in the presence of the Transporter, and shall note any shortfall, tampering or damage on the delivery receipt before signing it. Where a package has plainly been tampered with, you may refuse it and tell us the same day.
8.2You shall record an unpacking video, and shall report any shortage, wrong design or damage within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery, in the manner set out in Clause 6 of our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
8.3Please keep the mobile number on your account reachable during business hours, so that the Transporter can arrange delivery.
9 Risk and ownership
9.1In accordance with Section 39 of the Sale of Goods Act, 1930, delivery of the Goods to the Transporter for transmission to you is delivery to you, and risk in the Goods passes to you at that moment. Ownership passes to you on full payment and delivery to the Transporter.
9.2We book each consignment on terms that are reasonable for Goods of that kind: with a Transporter suited to the route, in suitable packing, with the value of the Goods declared, and with a consignment number that allows it to be tracked.
10 Loss, damage or delay in transit
10.1Where tracking shows that a consignment has not moved for an unusual period, or has been marked lost, we shall open a trace with the Transporter and keep you informed.
10.2Any claim for loss of, or damage to, the Goods in transit lies against the Transporter, and is not a claim against us. We shall share the lorry receipt or consignment note with you, and give you such documents as we hold to support the claim. Where the consignment was booked in our name, we shall lodge the claim on your behalf and pass on any amount we recover, as our Cancellation & Refund Policy provides.
10.3A Transporter's liability is limited by its own conditions of carriage and by law, and may be less than the value of the Goods. Transit insurance for the full value of a consignment may be arranged at your request and cost before dispatch.
11 Your own transporter, and collection from our warehouse
11.1Where a transporter of your choice carries the Goods, we hand them to that transporter at our warehouse, the freight is settled by you with that transporter, and any claim for loss or damage in transit lies against it. We shall give you the documents we hold to support the claim.
11.2Where you collect the Goods from our warehouse at Rajkot, delivery takes place, and risk passes, when the Goods are handed to you or to your representative, against identification.
12 Failed delivery, refusal and return
12.1The Transporter makes delivery attempts in accordance with its own practice. Where a consignment cannot be delivered because it is refused, because no one is available to receive it, or because the address given is incomplete or wrong, the Transporter may return it to us.
12.2A returned consignment is dealt with under Clause 12 of our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
12.3Where a Transporter delivers to its own office in your town, you shall collect the consignment within the free period stated by the Transporter. Any storage or other charges after that period are payable by you to the Transporter.
13 Goods that carriers restrict
13.1Some Transporters do not carry certain goods, such as liquids, inks or adhesives, or limit the value they carry. For such Goods we choose a Transporter that accepts them, which may affect the delivery option or the time.
14 Events beyond our control
14.1Dispatch and delivery may be delayed by causes beyond our reasonable control, including floods, strikes, disruption to transport, and acts of government. Any period in this Policy is extended for as long as such a cause lasts.
15 Contact and grievances
15.1Questions about this Policy, or about the delivery of an Order, may be addressed to Tirth Enterprise at Amin Marg, Rajkot – 360001, Gujarat, India, by email to contact@testationery.in, or by telephone or WhatsApp to +91 63531 35986.

15.3This Policy is governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Rajkot, Gujarat alone have jurisdiction, as provided in the Terms of Service.
16 Changes to this Policy
16.1We may update this Policy from time to time. The version shown on this page at the time we confirm your Order applies to that Order.
